August 26, 2005 - Friday - Before mudding and taping can start in earnest, the
entire floor of the home must be covered with paper to prevent a large mess all
over our wonderful slab floor. This shot, taken from the dining area, shows
the floor paper installed in the living room. This paper is very robust
and should easily last for weeks. Since we will also texture the walls,
this paper will protect the floor from texture splatters and also from paint
drips when we paint.
August 26, 2005 - Friday - Mudding and taping started this week. This
picture shows the first layer of mud in the north east bedroom. The start
of a very long process!
