July 8, 2005 - Friday - Gas plumbing is complete! This is a picture of our "manifold" with all four runs hooked up. July 8, 2005 - Friday - This shot shows the gas line for the range. The valve will be much easier to install after the sheet rock is put up, so for now the pipe is capped to facilitate the pressure testing of the entire gas system. As with the clothes dryer, we install both a gas outlet and an electrical outlet at the range location. This easily allows the home owner to use which ever type of range they prefer. Including both outlets doesn't cost much extra but it shows what type of home builder we are. July 8, 2005 - Friday - In keeping with adding extras that don't cost much but are real nice...here is the gas outlet out on the Grilling Porch so the owner can hook the Bar-B-Que up to the house propane system and forget about refilling the typical small propane tank or running out of gas in the middle of a culinary masterpiece! July 8, 2005 - Friday - In preparation for getting signed off to install all the sheet rock, this week we also installed the pluming fixtures for the showers. This picture shows the fixture in the shower of the master bath. We use Delta fixtures when ever possible since they make a good product and most of the product line is made in the USA. July 8, 2005 - Friday - This is a view from the other side of the shower in the master bath showing the PEX tubing connections to the faucet control. July 8, 2005 - Friday - This picture shows the new faucet for the shower/tub in the guest bath. July 8, 2005 - Friday - This shot is the other side of the guest bath shower showing the PEX tubing connection and the copper lines going up to the shower head and down the tub faucet. July 8, 2005 - Friday - Since we now have hot water facets to use for testing, we decided to get the Seisco water heater hooked up and try it out. Glad to report it works well! |
