March 25, 2005 - Friday - Framing is 98% complete at the end of this week.  This picture is taken from the living room and shows the framing for the open bar between the living room and the kitchen.

    March 25, 2005 - Friday - Here is another shot of the kitchen bar taken from a different angle in the living.  Even though this picture is a bit dark you should be able to notice the small wood blocks placed in the 45 degree wall corner, at the right side of the bar, in the center of the picture.  Since this is our first time using steel studs we are being a bit conservative by adding the blocks to make these 45 degree corners a bit more rigid.

    March 25, 2005 - Friday - This week also saw the framing for the fireplace completed.  The fireplace sits at a 45 degree angle in one corner of the living room.  Power and cable TV wires will be installed above the fireplace so future owners may possibly mount a flat panel television above the fireplace!  The fireplace will also be raised roughly 8 inches off the floor.

    March 25, 2005 - Friday - This picture is a bit dark but shows progress as we can see the bath/shower module sitting in place in the guest bathroom.
